Annie L. Dow is a Bay Area native and proud graduate of Wagner College's theater program. She has studied with Tony-award winning actress Michele Pawk, Sheri Sanders, Ryan Scott Oliver, Lindsay Mendez, Paul Fouquet, and Dani Super. Prior to her move to New York, she was seen in numerous productions in California, among them Les Misérables (Fantine; MVCPA), A Christmas Carol (Martha Cratchit; Northside Theatre Company), and How to Succeed... (Rosemary understudy; Foothill Music Theatre). Some of her New York theatrical credits include Shelly in Buried Child with Sea View Playwrights Theatre, Maeve in the staged reading of The Placebo Effect with Sundog Theatre Company, and, most recently, the world premiere of Romeo and Juliet: An Uncivil Tale with Rebel Theatre Company, under the direction of Rajendra Ramoon Maharaj. In the last couple years she has begun to explore the film scene, and can be seen in How To Walk Down the Street produced by 'NYC Rules' directed by Nileja James, and Dana in Shitty Fancy with Dirty Postcard Productions.In addition to portraying Sylvia, she is a co-writer of the screenplay of The Minimalist. Their next upcoming project is a post-apocalyptic adaptation of Macbeth.
